Looking forward to it! You might want to add a link to my blog in here, beingcheryl.com - probably in the plagiarized bio right before "Cheryl also blogs..." haha. Thanks, Mike!

Employment is a biggie right now and there are tons of folks that could use that online reputation enhancement to allow them to stand out in the crowd. I agree with the cover letter and becoming too over pretentious. You know that you have a problem with your branding efforts when your cover letter has "YOU NEED TO HIRE ME" in bold letters as the first sentence. If that is the only way to draw attention to yourself, plan to be searching for a long time.
I'll be sending out the Avitae Energy Water out to you early next week my friend! Congrats on the big win, and thank you for listening to the Get Social! Radio Show!

Online personal branding is even more important in today's world. I have been looking for a new job (I still currently have one, phew), for over a year now. With millions of people out of work the competition is like being thrown into a arena filled with lions.
Personal branding is the only effective way to shine b/c a cover letter can only say so much without sounding pretentious.

BTW: Thanks for the 4-pack of Energy Water. I can't wait to drink all four and see how fast I can clean the house...
